That is fair. This is a major theological difference between Christianity and Islam. But Floyd's treatment of it abandons any pretense of comparative analysis. He lists seven bullet points arguing for the crucifixion's historicity, all drawn exclusively from Christian Scripture and tradition, and then presents the Quran's position as simply wrong.

Floyd's introduction contains a passage that stops readers cold. While discussing discriminatory passages in Part IV, he pivots without warning into a comment about how American society has "elevated perversion to the status of a protected minority."

It signals that the book carries ideological cargo well beyond its stated subject matter and reveals that Floyd's goal is less about understanding Islam and more about reinforcing a particular cultural worldview.
